13 POUNDER BOY!

Our hunky chunk had his 2 month checkup on Monday. Yeah, I was a little late in doing it. He is 2 1/2 months right now. Anyway, he weighs 13 pounds so he is in the 75th percentile for height and weight. Crazy! I think I delayed the appointment as I hate seeing the doctor give him his shots. I cry almost as much as he does.

Here we are bathing "Brycie" in the kitchen sink. He outgrew the bathroom sink for now. Boy are they slippery. So cute. I love sensored bath shots.

Farewell to "B"

So Kaylie has had a binky since she was born and now she finally got rid of it. Well, we did. She was chewing on it and it cracked so we had to throw it away. I thought it was going to be a nightmare to have it gone but she has actually done well with it the last 2 days. She asks for it once in a while and I have to say that it went bye bye and it is broken. She understands that. Yeah, I thought we were never going to get rid of it. I guess you don't see any kids with a binky in kindergarten.

WHAT A HUNKY CHUNK

I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST BRYCEN HAS GROWN! He is already in 3 months clothes. He doesn't even look like the same baby. He is almost 10 weeks old. I'm sure he is close to 12 pounds! He started really smiling. He is a happy baby after he is fed. Aren't we all a happier after we have eaten? So cute. I am lucky to have a boy and a girl.

WHO KNEW SUGAR WOULD BE SO MUCH FUN?

Last Friday or Saturday Tony, Kaylie, Brycen and I were enjoying having the time together as a family. Well, I was in the front room feeding Brycen and Tony was in there with me as well. It was not too long after breakfast where we had pancakes. Tony loves plain old sugar on his pancakes. We have a cool little sugar shaker. We hadn't quite cleaned up all of breakfast when the thought came to me to have Tony check on Kaylie as she was in the kitchen a quiet. He said he would in a minute. Well, it was a minute too late when she came in the room with sugar all over her hands rubbing them together. Little did we know she had a hay day in the kitchen with the sugar shaker. Yep, you guessed it. She had sugar everywhere on the kitchen floor. Moral of the story? Make sure you follow your impressions, don't underestimate a 2 year old and never not worry when the kids are quiet. I guess that makes 3 morals of the story. We just had to laugh.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL!

We spent Thanksgiving at my aunt's house in South Jordan. We usually try to hit both families on holidays but Tony's parents went to Arizona to visit Tony's mom's parents. His Grandma has been in the hospital and is not doing very well. She has had a series of strokes and other problems. We don't know if she will make it or not much longer. We pray she does. Thanksgiving was great! All of the fun food and laughs. Tony got the turkey for us in Moroni at the turkey farm as he does deliveries or services in that area for work. It was yummy. We have a lot to be thankful for however. I am especially thankful to have 2 wonderful kids that were both a miracle to get here.
